As a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER PROCESS AUTOMATION, you will be responsible for expanding them customer base and driving sales of automation solutions, with a focus on automated valves, measuring, and control equipment. You will develop long-term relationships with end users, engineering firms, OEMs, and installers in the Wallonia and Luxembourg region.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales (70%)
- Identify and visit new prospects and partners
- Maintain market presence through regular customer visits (end users, planners, OEMs, installers)
- Attend trade fairs and industry-related events
- Manage industrial projects both technically and commercially
- Promote new products and apply the full GF product range (including automation, customization, services)
Customer Training (10%)
- Mainly theoretical sessions, with occasional hands-on training
Administrative & Strategic Tasks (20%)
- Create visit reports, reference cases, and follow up on sales leads
- Report monthly highlights, market trends, competitor behavior, and product gaps
- Analyze existing product portfolio and suggest suitable 3rd party products in collaboration with Product Management

- Bachelor or master degree in (bio)chemistry, electromechanics, environmental technology, or equivalent through experience
- Strong knowledge of process automation and control systems is a major advantage
- Knowledge of valve systems, pipe connectors, and related components or one of them is good enough so we can train you on the other.
- Knowledge of HVAC or process cooling applications is an advantage
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills in a complex market
- Self-driven, proactive, and customer-oriented
- Language skills: Fluent in French and English. Dutch or German is a plus.
